How many words can you think of to describe chocolate? Smooth. Creamy. Delicious. Exciting. All of these words invoke that incredible chocolatey smell, the memory of the silky smooth taste and texture on the tongue. Chocolate - whether white, milk or dark - is indulgent. It ensnares the senses and sends you into paroxysms of delight upon discovering new flavour combinations and types of chocolate. It's one of the most luxurious food options out there, but not many people know what it takes to make their own chocolate. That's where The Chocolate Lady comes in.
An Event To Remember
Julie welcomes groups of all types to enjoy their own private chocolate making demonstration. When it comes to setting up an event, you want there to be spot on entertainment, and when it comes to the most exciting chocolate experience nights in Suffolk, Julie has it made.
You'll experience a demonstration of chocolate making techniques and are given valuable tips to help you to make your own at home. You'll also get cream teas or tea and coffee with biscuits, and you can buy handmade chocolates and chocolate moulds at the end.

Demonstrations and tasting
Your hen night is one night you never want to forget, and with a unique chocolate night experience Suffolk, that's what you will get.
Julie has been making chocolate for almost 30 years, and the adventures blossomed when Steven Saunders - the famous chef - sampled some after-dinner chocolates that Julie had created herself. He believed that they were professionally made, and he was right - Julie made them! So, he became the first official customer for The Chocolate Lady, with Julie supplying after dinner chocolates to his restaurant.
Julie was BBC Radio's "Cambridgeshire Farmhouse Cook", and as a regular contributor to local radio channels and satellite TV shopping channels, Julie continues to demonstrate what she does best. At the end of every demonstration, you'll get the opportunity to buy Julie's book, titled "Chocolates from Steeple Bumpstead". The chocolate workshop in Suffolk runs group, individual and event bookings for interested visitors and Julie has recently recorded a video on chocolate making, and she has written various recipes and articles.
